CHIC – The WISTA Start-up Centre in Berlin's creative hotspot
The CHIC Charlottenburg Innovation Centre* is the ideal location for start-ups from the creative industries or the technology sector seeking collaborations with universities, commercial enterprises and cultural institutions in Berlin's City West.
The CHIC offers approx. 5,500 sqm of office space for up to 100 companies. The rental conditions are very flexible; the CHIC also offers meeting rooms, tea kitchens, server rooms and a reception service.
This makes the CHIC the first address for founders and young companies on Campus Charlottenburg, one of the largest inner-city university areas in Europe – in the middle of Berlin's City West.
* This project was funded by the state of Berlin as part of the community economic development “Improving the Regional Business Structure” (GRW), which is jointly and equally funded by the federal and state governments.
„This is a real flagship project for Berlin as a start-up location.“
Dr. Evelyn Kade-Lamprecht, Terra Consulting Partners GmbH
„Even before we moved in, support was provided for strategy development and financing structure. In addition, we were given very promising contacts.“
Vincent Bichler, Managing Director Betterguards Technology GmbH
„Here we are given the flexible framework conditions that we need as a young company. Competent contact persons are always there for us on a wide range of business issues.“
Dr. Henri Kretschmer, Managing Director Virtenio GmbH
