Whether you're overwhelmed, disoriented, or simply curious, this workshop is for you. Join us and peers early career researchers on an interactive afternoon where we'll explore future job perspectives through the lens of futures research
Who is it for?
This workshop is tailored for PhD candidates, postdocs, and young innovators eager to uncover new perspectives and transition their skills into impactful career paths.

- Skillset check-up: Conduct a self-assessment of your skillset and job perspectives
- Hands-on & guided scenario process: Go through a professionally facilitated scenario process to gain clarity on your potential world of futures.
- Motivation method for goal achievement: Develop concrete steps toward achieving your goals using the WOOP method (Wish, Outcome, Obstacle, Plan).
Workshop Goals:
The goal of this workshop is to help you uncover and reflect on your assumptions about your future career. You’ll be encouraged to think creatively and engage in discussions that inspire new ideas for your professional path.
Output:
By the end of the workshop, you'll have to experience a future scenario discovery, including a skills review and ideally a tool to track your insights.
Action-Oriented Approach:
Develop clear, actionable steps for shaping your career, motivated and guided by the WOOP method, so you can move forward with purpose and focus.
The Workshop is aimed at PhDs and Postdocs of all disciplines; Participation is free of charge.
