cosine GmbH has opened new offices and laboratory space in Berlin-Adlershof at the Centre for Photovoltaics and Renewable Energies (ZPV), where new X-ray optics labs and expanded testing capabilities will be installed over the coming years. This step further strengthens cosine’s presence in Germany and underscores its commitment to innovation as part of the WISTA network in one of the country’s leading science hubs.

cosine GmbH, the German subsidiary of cosine innovations, has expanded its footprint in Berlin-Adlershof with a new 650 m² facility that combines laboratory and office space. The site will include specialist installations such as an additional X-ray testing beamline and environmental testing setups, supporting projects like the European Space Agency’s (ESA) NewAthena mission and enabling new collaborations with international customers.

As part of this expansion, cosine has also entered into a strategic cooperation with the German national metrology institute PTB, gaining access to additional beamlines at the BESSY II synchrotron radiation facility to further advance its X-ray optics research.

With its new base in Adlershof and membership in the WISTA network, cosine looks forward to building strong connections within one of Europe’s most innovative science and technology parks.
