Project „aero-solar“ Berlin Adlershof with 67 modern two to four-room apartments
Quality-oriented and price-conscious
After having been active in the Pankow, Lichtenberg, Marzahn-Hellersdorf and Spandau in the northern and western parts of Berlin, Hanseatische Immobilien Treuhand GmbH + Co. is about to tackle their fifth project in the capital. For the first time, the owner-managed housing construction firm will conduct business in the dynamic southeast of Berlin, taking their project “aero-solar” to Adlershof. The building application has already been submitted.
The “aero-solar” project was developed together with architects from Büro 13. On Katharina-Boll-Dornberger-Straße, 67 modern two to four-room apartments will be developed with floor spaces ranging from 31 to 100 square metres. The project includes underground parking.
The name “aero-solar” makes reference not only to the location’s early 20th century past as Germany’s first airfield, but also to the colourful and light architecture of the prospective building with colour-contrasting projecting and receding elements making for a pleasantly structured facade.
The location has a long history in innovation. Today, the University, various scientific research institutes as well as the technology park and innovation centre provide the hotbed for a dynamic start-up culture from which many high-tech businesses have emerged. It’s no wonder that every so often, Adlershof is called Berlin’s “cleverest” neighbourhood. Qualified jobs just round the corner, the park on the doorstep – work and recreation: Adlershof has all that to offer.
That’s why as a residential area, the location is highly attractive for Hanseatische Immobilien Treuhand, says General Manager Felix Krekel. Excellent traffic connections, a well above average value for money ratio and still a lot of potential to be developed: “No wonder Adlershof is being discovered by an increasing number of young people and apartment-hunters.”
“Our aero-solar project is targeted at quality-oriented and price-conscious young people and families. No prohibitively expensive S-class model, but affordable mid-size standard including solid basic equipment,” says Krekel, comparing the project to car standards. Due to the application of energy-efficient KfW 70 standards resulting in low heating costs, Hanseatische Immobilien Treuhand are offering housing for smart people.
As a great deal of importance is placed on individual equipment, customers are provided with an extensive list of available extras leaving almost nothing to be desired. Even details not mentioned in the list can be realised by the respective subcontractor. “We have had extremely positive experiences with our approach,” Krekel explains. For more than 40 years, Hanseatische Immobilien Treuhand has built apartments offering excellent value for money.”
For Krekel, the comparison with the automotive industry holds, as other projects at Adlershof’s campus show. “The large variety of housing projects makes sure Adlershof is able to cater for all tastes.” Apart from Berlin, Hanseatische Immobilien Treuhand conducts business in Hamburg, Hannover, the Rhine Main Area and Potsdam.
