Adlershof at the 21. International Energy and Environment Fair and Conference ICCI in Istanbul

The Science and Technology Park Adlershof has become an important partner for Turkish companies and research institutions in the field of renewable energies. It has been exhibiting at the International Energy and Environment Fair and Conference ICCI in Istanbul since 2013. This year, WISTA-MANAGEMENT GMBH in cooperation with the German capital city region is hosting a joint booth with IHK-Potsdam from 6-8 May.

The ICCI is the largest energy fair as well as the leading specialized fair and conference for energy and environmental technologies in Turkey. The number of visitors and exhibitors has been growing strongly every year (414 exhibitors and about 16,000 visitors in 2014). www.icci.com/tr/en

Turkey’s energy policy goals are very ambitious. The country aims at covering a third of its primary energy demand with renewable energies, primarily wind and solar power, by 2023. It has doubled the installed capacity of its regenerative power plants in the past ten years. It is currently at 25 gigawatts (GW) and expected to increase to 40 GW in the next ten years. Turkey is one of the most promising energy markets in the world and Adlershof, as a provider of numerous development solutions, is a sought-after partner as our previous activities in Turkey have shown.

The Centre for Photovoltaics and Renewable Energies (ZPV)

At ICCI, one of the aims of WISTA-MANAGEMENT GMBH is to promote the Centre for Photovoltaics and Renewable Energies to gain new tenants. Custom built for companies from the energy sector, roughly 75 % of the available space in the modern building have already been let. The Photovoltaics and Renewable Energies Cluster currently consists of four scientific institutions and roughly 60 companies with 1,500 employees based in Adlershof that are providing innovative solutions for the transition to renewable energy.
