The Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin (HZB) is launching a major new project with an interdisciplinary architectural competition: An innovative laboratory and office building for catalysis research, in which the scientific cooperation between the HZB and the Max Planck Society (MPG) is to be expanded. The Catlab is to become an international beacon for catalysis research and drive forward the development of novel catalyst materials that are urgently needed for the energy transition.
