Latest Developments at the Rudower Chaussee

The closing of several remarkable deals along Rudower Chaussee thoroughfare in late 2015 has continued the location‘s success story. Supplement for Adlershof Special 42.

Landeslabor Berlin-Brandenburg (LLBB)

With the erection of a building on the corner of Wegedornstraße planned for usage by LLBB, a further infill plot on Rudower Chaussee has been developed. The establishment of the new institute will perfectly enhance the competence already existing at the on-site analytics cluster.

Allianz

Allianz International Insurance Group will move their Berlin head office to Adlershof. On a 50,000 m2 plot located on the corner of Rudower Chaussee and Wagner-Régeny-Straße, property developers Corpus Sireo are constructing a modern new building, flexibly adapting their office concept to Allianz‘s requirements. Air Campus Adlershof

This year, the go-ahead will be given for construction stages two and three. To begin with, the building will be extended along Rudower Chaussee by adding office and commercial areas of about 2,300 m² available for letting. A further 4,300 m² of rentable spaces will be created along the extension towards Straße Am Studio. Realised by ID & A Immobilien GmbH, the project will be characterised by variable interior finish as well as high-quality execution and excellent floor area efficiency.

Cross Media Center (CMC)

The ”Cross Media Center“ (CMC) will mark yet another attractive and hitherto unique addition to Berlin‘s largest media location. The idea behind it is to create one single contact point for all communication service providers. CMC is Germany‘s first creative collective serving as a pool for cross-media communication, print and creative services. The opening is scheduled for late 2016.

Am Oktogon

Groundbreaking for the new office and laboratory building B2 on the campus for commerce and technology ”Am Oktogon“ took place in late 2015. This second of a total of 13 new buildings grouped around the revitalised sawtooth roof hall is outwardly identical in construction to the neighbouring structure B1 which, in the meantime, has been completed and entirely rented out. The completion of B2 is scheduled for the autumn of 2016. An equally speedy completion is envisaged for OfficeLab H1, a modern production and service hall including an adjoining four-storey office structure 75 percent of which had already been rented out even before construction began.

Porsche

Porsche Distribution Centre marks another renowned brand having opted for Adlershof as their company location. The property at the intersection of Hermann-Dorner-Allee towards the Western end of Rudower Chaussee already stands out due to a 25 m high solar pylon providing power for an EV charging station. The opening of the distribution centre is scheduled for the spring of 2017.
